This stunning coastal home was designed and built with sustainability in mind. Not only were our tech savvy owners seeking a clever design, but they also sought out a home that integrated their desire for state-of-the-art I.T. infrastructure, with their personal sustainability goals.
This allowed us to utilise our expertise in this field and incorporate specific building techniques. We were able to successfully meet these goals in a cost-effective manner, by finding simple solutions that allowed for easy incorporation in the building programme.
Some of the key sustainable build features that we utilised to satisfy our clients desires were; internal and external Siga membranes, that will allow the owners to save a tremendous amount on heating and cooling costs, as well as double glazed UPVC windows and hydronic heating.

“Our experience with Homes with Integrity was that they live up to their name in every aspect of their business, from first consultations and contract signing, through to the three-month post-handover inspection. We chose them as our builder because of their passion for building quality, energy efficient and comfortable homes. Some of the changes they proposed to the original design greatly improved the efficiency and comfort of the house. Our build had a lot of complicated elements and very precise building systems, but throughout the build they were very communicative and we always knew where the build was up to and what was going to happen next.
We have gone through a summer with the internal temperature not going over 27°C, even on a 40°C day and it generally sits comfortable at 21°C with no air conditioning. In the winter, it never drops below 17 through the entire house if the hydronic heating is off. We also have a dust free environment due to the high airtight construction and the heat recovery ventilating unit. Our solar and battery system also produces more than we consume making it net positive for energy and creating a surplus on our electricity bill each month.
