This beach shack is a beautiful coastal home with a 7.9 star energy rating close to the coast. Using a modest budget this home is complemented by intelligent design, as well as the use of clean, high quality finishes and fixtures.
Approached by a well informed and educated client, we were excited to be involved in building this high energy rated home and were pleased to hear that they were committed to building a home that has a solar passive design.
It has a small, simple and well set out plan that was established from the outset, to create a comfortable, functional and energy efficient home.

“My experience with Homes With Integrity was that it lives up to its name in every aspect of its operation from the get go – from first consultations on a vacant site to the three monthly post handover inspection, every aspect had integrity – their tradespeople, work quality, budget control, scheduling, communication and creative problem solving.
The house has gone through summer without getting over 27 on 40 plus days without air con. On 6 degree nights it never drops below 17 through the entire house.
It accumulates minimal dust because of its draft free construction and the solar plant has me in credit after 4 months. At the 3 months inspection, I had no issues but they found that there was a screw missing in two of the door hinges!I can not recommend this builder more highly – they take their name very seriously indeed”.
